Bruce Hogarth graduated in Illustration and Photography from Edinburgh College of Art.

He pursued a career in freelance illustration, moving into illustration management within medical publishing, before returning to freelance illustration and design work.

Bruce brings a design sensibility to his photography, often giving a graphic feel to the images, using colour and composition.

He has a deep affection for the Scottish landscape in which many of these photographs were made.

He lives and works in the Scottish Borders.
